The question to ask then is whether to be in the position of either franchisor (much of whom are billionaires) paid 1099 profits, or franchisee or even whether to only continue to see this all from the position of a consumer who is usually, as Seth puts it, 'the average worker' paid a W-2 wage.

So take a chance, just do it, I say to people in front of me. Work it for the short term get paid over the long term. Doing nothing will only get them more of what is experienced today, and will delay the rest. If after having given it real effort, & find they don't like it, it's ok, they'll go back to their old life.
It truly is the solution for today's economy when the consumer-dependent model is in disrepair for too many years to come. the current recession is quite literally a forever recession. It will make people sick and they'll need the preventative health management plan. What is right here in front of us all is a NON consumer-dependent system that can be started, included, attached, thereby continued indefinitely.
